Haarlem Night Skate, Holland (May 28th, 2003)

The skating season of 2003 had an excellent start as far as the weather is concerned. As a proof see the pictures of the second Haarlem Night Skate (HNS) this year. The HNS is gaining popularity each edition. Maybe it wil out number the Friday Night Skate in Amsterdam soon ;-) After all Haarlem is the capital of the province of North Holland in which Amsterdam is just a city ;-)

The HNS is allowed only for six times a year, unfortunately :-( So be sure to check the website first when you decide to come to Haarlem on a Wednesday. It starts at the ice rink at the IJsbaanpad in the north of Haarlem.

The Haarlem Night Skate usually includes a mixture of downtown city skating and exploring the "greener" parts surrounding Haarlem. This edition led us to Bloemendaal and Elswout. enjoy the pictures and the video :-)
