| Intro: TNS-Goes Holland 6-9 juni 2003 Sun, skating and fun are the right words to decribe this TNS-visit to Holland. About 35 skaters from Germany (mainly Frankfurt, Tuesday Night Skate) participated in the Friday Night Skate (FNS) in Amsterdam. They were lucky to experience the Luilak edition. On Saturday seven FNS-skaters joined the TNS-team to skate the dikes along the IJsselmeer lake, and of course the Afsluitdijk: 30km in a straight line. The skate on the island of Texel got washed away by heavy showers :-( Most skaters went shopping in Amsterdam. A small group skated a 35km tour "Ronde Hoep" later that afternoon. sunday evening it was time to do a "Grachtenvaart" a boat tour through the Amsterdam canels. On monday the sun was back again and we skate from bakkum through a typical Dutch landscape to Purmerend where we boarded the bus again. To wash away the sweat we took a dive into the IJsselmeer. All the stories and pictures of the weekend are also available on CDROM including video's. This report is a compilation of pictures taken by Jan, Martijn and Peter. I didn't put the video's on the web because of the many hundreds MB's. Maybe a condensed verion will appear in the future. Enjoy!
